There are three Guadalmina beaches. The most popular beach is Linda Vista beach where water sports is very popular and can be practiced, such as windsurfing and jet skiing. There is a lifeguard service during the summer and numerous beach bar chiringuitos and restaurants.
Guadalmina restaurants have much to offer in great cuisine, international and Spanish food of Southern Spain. Typical dishes are tapas which are snack sized morsels that are famous in this area. There are very good Guadalmina hotels here, such as the Golf Hotel Guadalmina which is one of the most unique and elegant hotels in the South of Spain. Also Coral Beach Marbella, on the Goldenmile near Guadalmina. It was inaugurated in 1990 and is one of the best four star hotels on the Costa del Sol.
The Guadalmina area is steeped in history, of past civilizations like the Carthaginians, the Romans and Moors, to name a few. Guadalmina is close to San Pedro, which is a wonderful spectacle of narrow streets and low houses, surrounded by forests of pine, oak and low mountain scrubland.
